Abstract Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is an aromatic, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer with good wear resistance, corrosion superior mechanical properties, chemical stability and biocompatibility. While the elastic modulus of PEEK highly similar to that cortical bone, based on many such excellent material properties PEEK, it determined often used in intervertebral fusion, artificial joint replacement trauma implants, etc. Biomedical fields. However, biological inertness hydrophobicity make difficult form osseointegration human thus limiting its use as a bone repair material. In order better implant field, obtaining implants has become focus scholars’ research. this study, surface was laser textured produce regular shape, which resulted laser-modified properties. The purpose study improve micro-abrasion wetting enhance service performance materials.
